Eis-me Chegada ao Último Dia de Aulas...
do ano lectivo de 2006/2007.
Sim.
É bom ter folga das aulas até Setembro.
Claro há os exames em Junho, em Julho e em Setembro
para fazer e corrigir.
Os trabalhos práticos para corrigir.
E também ainda aulas aos Mestrados e respectivas avaliações.
E também as outras ene coisas todas.
Mas é bom chegar (mais ou menos) ao fim de mais um ano lectivo.
Mas o melhor foi que os meus alunos do 1º semestre
se vieram despedir de mim.

Hum Melly I am not so sure if it's the fact that I had done someting well as a teatcher... or... if I have a good interaction with them, at a more personal level... but whatever... it was a good feeling :-)
It takes a very dedicated teacher to be able to interact with her students on a personal level.
You can not separate the two, the exceptional woman, from the exceptional teacher.
To teach, to simply give information and facts is a mechanical form of teaching, but from the little I know of you, you stimulate your students to think; you can not do that without observing them closely, taking their "pulse" and becoming involved much more than being a human encyclopedia.
How can I know this? Because I used to watch Daria teach her classes at the university while she completed her PHD, and like you, she put her heart and soul into it. Her students would be so involved in the classes that they would not leave when it was over.

Hum... não sei Melly. Acho que não é bem isso... em inglês receio bem que não consiga explicar. Mas pronto, o que interessa é que eu gostei do gesto deles :)
